trouble conceiving
Me and my partner been trying for a year and I think I keep misscarrying early . Its upsetting really I have been taking pregnacare conception fpr the last two montha to ensure my body has all the vital vitimins that I could be lacking , I have had blood for my hormone levels which came back normal and waitig for an abdominal scan as my periods are very scanty and unpredictable and usually do not have a flow alot of things can throw off a period bit not like this. It confuses me when I have a period 18 days later or 50 days later and sometimes they range from 21 -28 when they are being slightly normal. I dont know what to do what if I am ovulating properly I couldnt even do ovulation test because my cycles are so unpredictable. We really want a baby and if it happens it happens but im not prepared to just conxeiwve under the wrong circumstances like if my body is not at the absaloutle best of health please help
Well this is the reason I asked for a scan im so scared right now im nearly a week late boobs are hurting gt few signs of pregnancy but not getting my hopes up because I knoe how my periods are what are your cycles like ??
I had 2 random nose bleeda today and my breasts hurt when touching and I hqve been bit unwell past 3days feeling dizzy and stuff its been 32 days since my last bleed, could this be a good sign are nose bleeds in the category or early symptoms? Also my lower abdoman feels funny and tight and uncomfortable and slightly heavy today what is gping on hoping its a good sign that ive conceived but I feel as if I can conceive but it doesnt follow through fingera crossed !
If I go there and theres nothing wrong and I aint pregnant it will be very obvious that for sone reason im not ovulating properly and wikl ask to be put on meds to make ovulation occur more frequent if thqts the case
Well I got my pelvic scan on 23rd so going to wait till then right now I havnt come on yet ... it been 30 sinxe my last but my last bleed was 18 days after one befpre that . My boobs hurt and I have been very weak and ill and fweling aick all day which I didnt go into work im so run down , cpuld be a good sign could be bothin im hotflushing all the time but im not putting my bets on it because of how flipant my cycles can be just hope ita a positive thing that I fwel unwell and slightly late x
4days ago I wiped and seen the smallest dot of blood every and I mean tiny ... but I havnt had nothin else. What the..... so confused .
Uk / south wales yes my cycles are so different every month , but I cnt have pcos causr I had bloods done to teat my hornmonr levela and they are normal x
i'm not sure where you live or how it is where you are but you could discuss it with your doctor, metformin is used for those reasons also and also to prevent first trimester miscarriages, I don't have pcos well I don't believe so because my periods are regular and I don't have trouble concieveing, it wouldn't hurt to discuss your options with your doctor
Ohhhh , can you ask to be put on that ? I tryed to read up on it and it said stuff like people with diabetes and pcos are put on it and he help release insulin or aomething confused lol ... well I had 2 bleeds which both were completly different just recently ... so in the space of a month had like a vey very light scanty just wiping kinda thing then 18 days later ... so ibhave no clue when I ovulate atall so confusing I must definatly not be ovulating properly xx
metformin helps you to ovulate properly, it also helps prevent miscarriage I took it before I began trying got pregnant the first cycle on it and continued taking it until last week when I was into my 15th week
So are these just tablets which make you ovulate ? .... or ovulate properly I mean I didjt want help really but I just dont think im ovulating correctly and will it effect me if I keep misscarrying? Just dont unserstand how I can get a faint positive and begatives after on 2 different occasions and I can never think oh yes im pregnant ..... because it always ends up in disappointment when can the doctor prescribe these tablets... and is it completly healthy ? Did tou try any of the pregnacare vits ?? X
I used metformin and I got pregnant the first cycle on them......I had no problems with infertility but I had just come off birth control and I also had pcos so the doc told me that I would take a while to conceive ...also had 2 miscarriage both at 7weeks.....there's also clostil or clomid.....there's a fertility/infertility section on here as well if you are interested in checking them out
Hopfully the scan will tell me that my tubes aint blocked and that I have no cysts atall to rule out that there is not anything wrong, then I can go from there to try and find out if I am actually ovulating every month as my cycles have varied from 18 - nearly 50 days / 21 22 26 27 28 31 32 38 and upwards but I have noticed this change dramatically since I have been having unprotected sex with my partner so.... it cannot be stress because I am very chilled out and we aint trying to the point of which we stress of it happens it happens but I am very concerned I need advice from maybe people of exsperienced this so I came on here to try and find possible answers even though the doctors are the only ones but they are pretty useless what medication can they use that make sure you ovulate properly??
No I havnt yet gone down that road, the doctors run bloods fpr my hormone levels and they came back normal and they said I wouldnt have that but I asked to make an appointment at hospital for an abdominal ultrasound scan tp check I dont have any cysts atall , as I am bot giving up on the fact my periods are very bland a weirdly irregular the only thing I can think of which is upsetting them is if I am conceiving and somewhere down the line is going wrong I am taking pregnacare conception I sm on my second box just to make sure I have enough of the vital vitimins for healthy conception but I dont understand why I have not yet held a pregnancy both times in which im aware of getting pregnant and misscarrying I had faint positives on both and then negatives after and not ling after that exsperiencing a very painfull heavy bleed which I am not used to ..
have you seen a fertility specialist??? their are a lot of other tests that could be run to determine the problem.....yur periods being so irregular strikes me as odd...do you have polycystic ovaries?? that make conception difficult also.....I hope all goes well and I wish you the best
No I wasnt the last time I was on birth control was a few years ago, I am gettig really worried they said I cant have pcos because my hormone levels are fine I just dont know what to do I dont know when I ovulate, and when I think I do I dont think I do cycles are so messed up half of the time they dont wven flow they are just pink wiping so messed up ! I know its does take on average a year for couples to conceive right ? But I think its happening but something keeps going wrong :( x
