trying again

i was just wondering i know the doctor told me to wait till i have had a period after my d&c till we start trying again but does anyone know if its unhealthy not to. i just cant wait to try again lol

I was told by my midwife that the reason is that with a D&C they scrape the lining pretty good, if you get pregnant before the first cycle that it doesn't give your insides a chance to make the lining plush again.  It's really up to you, you shouldn't start trying until after you stop bleeding (to eliminate/decrease the chance of an infection) for sure, and I do suggest waiting for AF.  

I had a D&C Nov 30th and just used a condom until I got AF (Well a day or two before because I just knew it was coming).
