u/s today

Question

I havent posted in a little while but just wanted to say hi to everyone!  

I go in this afternoon for an ultrasound and I hope we see the baby's heartbeat.  (I am 7 weeks this week)

I'm really nervous because of the m/c in October, but so far this pregnancy has had no complications.  I'll update later after the appointment, hopefully with good news.

Thats fantastic news!!! The sound of your unborn baby`s heartbeat is the most beautiful sound a mom-to-be could ever ask for. I know its hard not to not worry but just try and relax and enjoy this pregnancy coz before you realise it, the baby will there and you would have missed out on enjoying the most magical time of you life. all the the best.

YAY!  I never even thought about the fact that there couldn't be a baby until this happened to me...so now I am even more excited to hear the results of the heartbeats.  That really makes me smile for you.  I don't care if they say the chances are the same for a m/c....it is just a step in the right direction for your baby!  Have the sweetest dreams of your little bean!

Thanks girls for the support. Just got back from the u/s and we saw the baby and the heartbeat!!! We also got to hear the heartbeat with the ultrasound machine, pretty incredible, it was 125. Just need to get through these next few weeks and I will feel much more relaxed. The u/s tech said after you see the heartbeat the chances of m/c are about the same until you reach about 10 weeks. I am happy anyway to just know that there is a baby!

Good luck.  I know how stressful waiting for the u/s is and how nervous you are.  Take care, and I hope everything goes well!!!  Keep us posted.
