whats the best way to miscarry

I've Been told I have to miscarry.... Has anybody done it naturally? I'm totally devastated! Confused why its happened . I feel numb! My first pregnancy was fine and gave birth to a healthy boy. This one stopped developing and 8 and a half weeks.

Well I opted for the medical option which was meant to start today. Wednesday, early hours of Thursday morning I had bad contractions that lasted seven hours and bled excessively. Ended up in hospital and I've just been told I've done it naturally. It was quicker than I expected.

I am very sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in January at 13 weeks. I opted to do it naturally.  It was the worst pain I have ever felt. I had full on contractions and had to go to the er where I then passed it. I bled for 2 weeks which was a constant reminder. I got pregnant again after my first cycle and am now almost 6 weeks however I had spotting and.am now on bed rest for a week until my next appointment.  I would advise to wait a little while before conceiving again and I would do the d and c just to avoid what I went through. Take care

I had naturally miscarriage the first of feb this year. I was 6-7 weeks pregnant started bleeding on a friday, passed the tissue sat, & then bleed until wed. So in all bleed for 6 days, I had no problems at all, no pain or anything. & then I started my period 5 weeks after my miscarriage started, & I'm now 5 weeks pregnant again, & so far everything is looking good. My first app is thursday.  I have heard that a d&c is painful, & u will bleed longer? But if ur almost 9 weeks pregnant & nothing has started on its own then u will more then likely have 2 have the d&c done. Best of luck & sorry for ur loss.

There's always risks but my Dr told me after a dnc you're pretty fertile because the dnc cleans u out and any uterine stimulation can up the chance of pregnancy after ..I had my daughter then the miscarriage an now I'm pregnant again so far so good ..I would recommend the dnc over the natural any day ..save some of your emotions in this hard time an do it that way ..I hope this helps

I think a d&c is the best (for me anyways). I know a lot of woman end up having one even trying to go natural (which was my case) because of tissue or bleeding problems. It is fast and the healing process can begin faster than waiting for it to happen naturally.
