Is it a concern?

If my cervics is dialating to two and I'm only 17 weeks should I be concerned?

I would be concerned that seems to early to me what did your doctor say about this

yes. it sounds like you may have an incompetent cervix which can cause death to the baby if not fixed immediately. i started contracting when i was 17 weeks with one of my pregnancies, i was brought to the hospital where they found i was 2cm dilated, i was admitted to l&d, 2 days later my son was born and he died 22 minutes later. please, if you think you are dilating, go to the hospital. are you having any cramps, bleeding or pain? if not and you are in fact dilating, this is most likely an incompetent cervix which can usually be fixed with a cerclage, which is where they stitch your cervix closed.
