A question regarding my Neurological exam

I am a 37 year old female and recently underwent a thorough neurological evaluation for numbness/tingling, vertigo and many other neurological type symptoms that I have been experiencing for the last 18 months.

In going over my records I noticed the following note in my neurological exam: Cranial nerve examination was notable only for some pallor involving the temporal aspect of the left disc.

I have floaters in my left eye - which are described as typical vitreous floaters.  I have not had any other vision issues, except for an incident last week where my left field of vision went blurry for a minute or so.

Can you tell me what this means?

Thank you for your time,
Chrisy

Thank you so much for your response.  What should I expect with the neuroopthamologist?

This means that they suspected that there may have been damage to your optic nerve in the past.

The "disc" is the optic nerve "head" (picture the entrance to a tunnel). Pallor happens when the disc goes from looking nice and pink to being whiteish.

This doesn't tell you, however, what caused that damage.

I suggest you see a neuroophthalmologist to clarify the cause in you personally.
