Another MRI

Okay, so, I walk into my Neurologist's office to pay my bill, since I lost the one he mailed me, and I see him in his office hanging up the phone.  I told him about the "MS hug" I had Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and yesterday, and he points me into his exam room and does a brief exam (my feet nearly kicked the mallet out of his hand), and orders another MRI of my T-Spine before I go on vacation.

I'm wondering if that's going to show anything, since the last one didn't (12/08), and the symptom only started Sunday.  Me and my big mouth!

Having a little "wannabe" exaserbation from yesterday's bike ride - I was feeling so strong yesterday, and I'm paying for it today!  Super shaky, hyper-reflexive, weak, and exhausted!

Gave him my new CD, and left.

I think you did the right thing in telling him.  It's important to know if you have new spinal lesions (though you obviously do with the Hug and the hyperreflexia).  He's still geting a baseline on you.  Besides the HUG can be more than just uncomfortable.  It can decrease your air excursion into and out of your lungs.

Yeah, we really pay for our activity on good days, don't we.  :((

Great!  I think that links aren't active on this site, so it won't get picked up by spammers... but I can't be sure.

Jen -  Musical.  I'm not sure how to post details without risking getting spammed to death.  I just produced it last fall/winter.  It is on CD Baby, though.

Sarah's mom -  I had it this morning.  I always get my films when I leave the joint, and so far these look negative to my undertrained eye. I think for the future, I'll clam up until something really serious happens.   I'm starting my DMD (Copaxone) when I get back from vacation.

We are newbies to this MStery disease and oh is it a hard time to know what to tell the doctor and what not to tell.  I didn't tell my neuro at the last exam that I was having symptoms that had been hanging around for several days because one, I didn't want to be on IV-SM right now and 2, don't want to go for an MRI.  Had my fill of MRIs for now.

Did you schedule your MRI yet?
