I really love my doctor, but I had hoped to not see him for a while.
I woke up this morning and my head felt weird. Like I'd taken too much medicine and it was all groggy. I was veering to the left when I walked. I assumed I was just over-tired but coffee did not help. Now an hour later my head feels like it is spinning a bit. I went to take the baby out of her crib, she was standing up so I barely had to lean over, and when I stood up straight again I felt like my head was spinning.
If I walk I start to veer to the left, and my head will start to spin a bit, but if I blink it's like it "resets" everything and I can walk straight for a few steps before the spinning starts again.
It is not too bad, I feel like I can do my normal day, just not walking with the baby as much as I usually do. But, I told my husband about it and he is insisting I see the doctor. He is on his way home from work right now, because I'm not comfortable trying to drive like this.
Now I'm in the weird place of hoping this doesn't go away before I see the doctor (my appointment is at 11, but there is always at least a 2 hour wait).
Does the groggy head feeling happen during vertigo? Should I expect to be given another medicine? Ugh, I really, really, really hate taking medicine :-(
