I don't have any electrical shocks,I have expeienced that in the past.

Please take it easy. Glad you son is home. Mine was home for Thanksgiving and it was so comforting. Some of us can hold the tech down for you while you kick his barbaric hiney, what do ya think?!

Our weather is just turning wintery tonight, but not for long. Going back up to 50's tomorrow. Sometimes I wonder where I live, lol!

Awww T I'm so sorry you had such a bad go with your test. Feeling the way you did and to get treated like that, man I'm so mad I'd like to take that ear piece and shove it up her well you get the drift.

I sure hope things go well on Monday for you.

As for your tree, don't worry, I haven't even thought of starting yet.

We're in for the same weather as you starting with heavy snow fall and then freezing rain come morning. But don't worry, your son will be fine and home soon, he has too great of a mom who has taught him common sense not to.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better and I will pray that everyday is better yet.

Hi Ladys, I'm feeling a little better the ringing in my ears have subsided alot.Thats makes movement easier.

The tech the done the vep and the baer was less than patient. The right side doing the eye was okay but she wasn't getting a response out of the left after 6 times of doing that test I finally said enough. She even redone the electrode on the forehead she left a bruise and it scabbed over. She rubbed it so had with that dang gone glue.

She got really frustrated with the left ear and then the right,I told her if she jammed that ear peice into my right ear one more time I was out of there.

It was brutality on the techs part.I told her that I have had both test before and I have never experienced this before. She apologized and stated that she thought the front electrode was not working properly.

Now I explained to her that I had hearing loss took the proper paper work and that I had INO in the left eye and took that paper work.

Sometimes I think these Drs feel that they are the second coming of Jesus, because they darn sure don't listen to the patient.

But its done and over with and I see my neuro on Monday.

My tree is still sitting in the same spot, not decorated yet, maybe tomorrow.

Gonna go,its really icy here and theres accidents every where and my son is at an away wrestling meet so I'm pacing.Just my motherly instincts.

Enough is enough.  You have had way more than your fair share.  I hate this for you and I wish there was something I could do or say to help.  I don't really have the buzzing when I bend my head but I do get a tingling sensation that will run all through me when I bend my head in certain positions.  I guess that's just part of it.

I'm glad you felt like pulling out the tree.  Once the kids get it decorated it should lift your spirits a little.  It did mine.  I love to set and watch the lights and look at all the ornaments.  Almost all of our ornaments have some kind of special meaning.  It makes me go into "Carol Land" when I look at them.

How did your test go?  What does the doctor say about these recent problems your experiencing?  I know it will get better just have faith.

I'll be praying,
Carol

I hope but doubt you are feeling any better after your test today. I just hope it wasn't too bad for you. I doubt if it was easy with your eyes all wonky. Let us know how you made out when you are able to.

Awww T I'm sorry that you still aren't doing any better. I'm praying that it is not a relapse, you don't need to go through that right now.

I hope the VEP won't be too bad for you but if you need to hurl, let it rip. I hope you get this figured out soon and feel better soon.

Stay in your jammies, rest, and and try to get some sleep. It's a good night to stay indoors. They're calling for a pile of snow here starting tonight and into tomorrow. Should be a fun drive to work. So I better get to bed soon so I won't be half asleep driving. Somehow I don't think the other drivers would appreciate me on their side of the road. lol

Thinking of you and sending hugs your way

Not much releif today.Still in my jammies from yesterday, didn't do much movement today.Just breifly checking in.
I had a medicine change but been on it for a few weeks now,I'm not under any stress that I can think off.I'm hoping its not a relapse.I've had 3 since March.
I'm having a new vep and a baer tomorrow, the baer will also detect additional hearing loss.I'm not looking forward to the VEP,the reversing of that checkered board will definately make me hurl.My eyes are all wonky.
Yes, I have spinal lesions.
Penn, thanks for the laugh,I'm willing to share with ya all.Penn maybe you can go with me tomorrow and hold the trash can.(lol)
I see my neuro on monday.Just gonna ride it out for now.Or stay on my couch.

Hey T - Any relief yet?

Just checking.  I know I didn't have the electric shock either, just the buzzing in that tailbone.  Hmmmm, I didn't think to check to see if I could feel it, just as well, would have put some folks off, I'm sure - ha/ha. . .or they would of figured I had were nuts.

My Dr did say it was a symptom consistent w/lesion in the spinal cord.  Which turned out to be true after MRI.  I had it for months.  I still have it, but no more buzzing, just numbness and sensation that my arms and legs are asleep, then as soon as my head returns back up, that quick, it goes away.

You do have them in your spine don't you? I thought you said you did.  Maybe you have some inflammation kicking up.

Hope things calm down a bit soon,

Be well,
SL

Gosh girl, when are you gonna catch a break?!!  My buzzing vibration gets worse before I start a relapse of symptoms or when I get real stressed out.

You have just had a medicine change though and I remember the "wide awake junkie" comment and that makes me wonder if maybe there is a correlation here with this buzzing and the increase in meds.

You need to see the neuro and have this checked out along with your ears again.  I will be praying you get some relief soon!!

Have you called your doc yet? Doesn't sound like it's getting any better on its own. Bed does sound like the safest place to be, and no doubt the most comfy. Should you need to hurl, let me know, I'm sure I've got a trash can to catch it so it doesn't mess your floors. Ice cream definitely NOT in order tonight, huh?

Take good care and check in so we know you're ok. Like Moki said, you've had more than your share - have you always been greedy?;) Sorry, trying to make you laugh -- when all else fails.

You really have had more than your share haven't you. I'm sorry that you are getting the buzzing. (buzzed would definetly be more fun) I've never had it, so I don't know what you are feeling but it is obvious that it is very irritating.
I'll be praying that you get relief really soon.

Cyber hugs

T, as you may know this is called L'hermittes syndrome and is very common with spinal cord problems.  This was one of my first symptoms, along with right torso total numbness.  Not only will this syndrome cause electrical shocks, but the "buzzing" itself if a form of the shocks...or as what my Neuro tells me.

This symptom only falir-ups from time to time in me....and it drives me nuts.  I can't even look down at my dinner plate, without the buzzing and electric shock sensations.

Now...we have the hot broads, the spazy ones, now we have the buzzy ones.  Geesshhhh, this forum is filled with weirdness.  It's it great?

Be well dear heart....I think you will find that this IS L'Hermittes.
