Ms?

Hi, I'm new to this. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but wanted to know iif any of you have these same symptoms. I' have an apt Feb 6 with the neurologist. I've had an MRI and it showed two "enhancements"on my brain. Not exactly sure what that means. But here are my symptoms I've been having. Itching all over (especially on my feet), numbness and tingling in my hands, and sometimes in my left leg. Sweating like no other. Bone and joint pain. Fatigue. Low grade fevers off and on all the time. Sometimes I have spots in my vision. Dizzy spells.  Have a hard time focusing, and outing two and two together. Like, normal things that used to be easy for me. I just get mixed up all the time. I would love some input. Thanks

I  have had MS for ten years and sweat from my head profusely. I also have a hip and a knee replacement due to pain in my joints. I still have pain in both and other joints now and have been told it is my MS. Hope this helps.

I get sweat but only in my face and around my hair.  I believe someone else on the forum has the same symptom.  But Alex has given you a good run down.

Sweating is not common to MS nor is joint and bone pain nor are fevers. Black spots that come and go do not sound like MS. Double vision or loss of vision in one eye that does not go away or is extremely painful or loss of color vision in that one eye.

The skin if it is neurological might be MS. Usually both hands are not effected by MS but may be. The tingling, cognitive, and dizziness could be neurological.

The change can cause many of those symptoms. I do not know how old you are.

MS usually doesn't affect both sides, at least, not in the beginning.  MS will not give you Bone and Joint pain, but rather muscle and nerve pain.

We are all patients, not doctors, but my guess is that there is perhaps some RA involved or another disease.  If this is your first visit, you will hopefully undergo many tests.  There are over 20 mimic diseases of MS that they will try and rule out and you probably won't get an instant diagnosis.

MS moves slowly, which is a good thing, but it gives them time to work thru the elimination process.

Welcome to our group, and keep us posted, we often learn from each other.
