Hi everyone!!  :)

It's about 9:00 pm here (I'm in So California).  I feel for all of you that are having the extreme weather conditions!   It got to about 85 here today.  The kids were playing on the water slide all day.

Boy Shar ~ your kids start back early!!!  The 2 elementary school kids start the day after Labor Day and my High Schooler starts on Sept 10 (school construction is postponing it a bit).  My youngest is supposed to start Preschool part-time, but he isn't potty-trained yet, so he'll have to wait a bit.  :-|

Em - you're very pretty!! :)

I'm ok in the "heat", but I had a quite a bout with the dizziness this weekend.   This came with some intense sinus headaches and right ear pressure.  Very frustrating.  I ended up taking ibuprophen and sudafed since I don't have a Rx.  Helped a tiny bit.

I've got to get off my bottom and call my neuro tomorrow and see if he can give me something for the lightheadedness while we await this Dx.   (I need to follow up with him after my EVPs anyway.  Need to find out what he plans on doing until my next MRI).

The ENT won't give me any meds ~ they're passing me back to my neuro, so hopefully he will.

Take care everyone!  Pat :)

I live in Washington state. There's about a 15 hour difference I think.  Is 7pm here on sunday. Is it sunday or monday in England? I woke up about 3 times last night. Good thing today is my day off.

Hello again, it's 3.25am Monday morning.  I'm off work at the mo as my body just can't be bothered to do anything I ask...he he! Usually I would be up in 2 and a bit hours to get ready for work. Just added a picture on my profile...took a while, I'm useless at stuff like that...that's why I married an IT expert.

HI Karina, you're right about the weather thing over here...rain really does get boring after a while.

I actually live in Newcastle in the North but I'm orginally from the Yorkshire Dales. Lived all over the place though..even taught in Germany for a while.

Where abouts are you?  What time is it there by the way?  Always wondered that as you all seems to log on about the same time which I presume is early eveing over there?  It's 3am here...another one of those sleepness nights when my body decides to come awake finally at night....typical.  Actually my husband is working away in Shanghi at the moment...don't sleep too well when he's away, mind you don't sleep when he is here..that snoring thing, that gets quite boring too...!

Hi Shar,

100 degress....don't think England has ever got that hot.  It's rained all day here AGAIN.  We always seem to get promised a really hot summer, the hottest on record, instead we get the worst floods on record...oh well.  Probably a good thing for me at the moment but love your way of coping with the heat...walking wardrobes.. heaven!

Sounds like you're pretty hectic there at the moment with the new school start and all.  Kids here don't go back for another 3 weeks or so.

I don't have kids but that was next on the agenda, think we need to sort this little 'episode' out first.

Well, it was great to hear from you.  I always seem to post the forum with questions and concerns but for once I just wanted to say 'hello' to everyone.  Sometimes it's good to talk about normal life I guess.

Hope tomorrow goes well for you and your family.

Take care

Em

Sounds like you two are having some weather problems. Is cool here in WA. Which is nice, since my heat tollerance was acting up last week, when it was in 80s-90s. WA stays pretty cool.

EL where in England do you live? I lived in England when I was 10-11 or so. Don't really remember where, was 20 yrs ago. I do remember all the rain. That's all it seemed to do. Sure gets old after awhile.        Karina

Hi Em. How are you doing? Is it hot where you are? We are on our 15th straight day of temps in the mid 90's.

I cannot stand the heat! Does it affect you (or anyone else here?) I'm thankful that our house has AC, but when it reaches 100 degrees it just doesn't cool very well. I find myself going into the closet in my bedroom (it's a big walk in), it has an air vent and is probably the coolest place in the house.

My youngest two start school tomorrow! I can't believe another school year is here again. My youngest will be a freshman in high school. Her sister is a Senior. And we will be taking our oldest to IU next week for his freshman year. So much emotion around here. It's a mix of excitement, sadness, and a bit of nervousness for all of us I believe.

Well, that's what's new around here. What's up with everyone else? I hope everyone is finding a way to stay cool.

Shar
