I have yet another question. If you all remember I had my LP last thursday. I leaked all day friday into saturday. That stopped. I worked Sunday and Monday and leaked again a little monday might. The pain in my lower back and right hip(not new in right hip) is temendous. No fever or any other symptoms that might indicate infection. y headache is gone. I am so tired. Has anyone done this after an LP?

She called me Thursday afternoon to see how I was feeling. She said pretty much what you said Alex that it would take awhile that sometimes a flair would cause what I was feeling as well. She told me to not worry about the results that even if they were  "normal" it did not indicate that the end diagnosis would be different. She was using it to confirm her clinical evaluation of my symptoms. I really appreciate her concern and told her so. Thanks to all of you.

Sometimes it take weeks to get back to normal.

I'm glad you're back is feeling better today.

Has it stopped leaking? I hope so.

Too bad your Dr didn't call you back. Maybe she didn't get the message.

Good luck with your results tomorrow.

Mike

That doesn't even sound good at all Missy. I'm with Tonya on this one, get that Neuro on the phone. It may/may not be normal, but I sure as heck would be telling someone about it. Let us know how it turn.

I am sorry that I have no experience w/ what you have going on but wanted you to know that I certainly hope that you get some relief soon!

Have you contacted your Neuro or whoever did your LP to let them know what has been going on? I would think that this may be an important phone call to make??
Keep in touch and let us know how everything goes.

I would also think that resting and keeping hydrated would be another good idea.
