silly story

One on my MS symptoms is a sort of Tourette's vocalization.  One sound I make often oompadoo.

We were at a restaurant on Christmas Eve.  As normal I had to went to the rest room a number of times.  The first time I visited the room their a number of gents doing their business.  Shortly after entering the facility my Tourette's vocalization sounded somewhat loudly: ooohmpahdooo.  It was quite interesting in seeing everyone look away from there activity and make a quizzical, comical and surprised  expression at me and quickly get back to business and somewhat hurriedly finish-up and leave.  No one stayed to was their hands.

Whups!  These days something like that happens, and I get struck with a fit of the giggles.

I told you about my three months with the TSK! noise.  That got annoying - I'm sure for hubby too.  Does it seem like it's worse when you're stressed out?

Yeah, I think mine was worst when I was really stressed, because my mind kept going and wouldn't shut up!

My father-in-law performs in a band, and he has this bad habit of going "Doooowoooowoop!" after he sings a song.  I think it's something he can't help - we've mentioned it to him, and he tries not to do it, but it just comes out.  If he remembers, he does it off-mike!
