What is going on?

I have been feeling dizzy. Last week I was driving and had a quick dizzy spell. Then on Saturday at my son's football game, I did the same. Each time I tend to drift off to the right side. I have been having facial numbness, but small ones such as the lip or the around the eye. I also have eye pain and headaches, but this had come on all of a sudden. Someone told me I should check MS. I don't know, what's going on. I am going to call my doctor today...

One possibility is migraine, which has neurological symptoms on onset.  I would get past the pills and investigate further - there's no cause for alarm at this point.  Good luck!

I did make the call and as always when you go to a family practicioner that what they do. I got sent home with a bunch of pills. Although she did take a blood test for anemia, which I have had in the past several times. The dizziness comes and goes. It's just frightening, especially when driving. I am still getting headaches though. Thanks for replying everyone and I'll keep ya posted.

Hi Brown5,

Did you make the call? Hope so. It's so hard to say as so many diseases or conditions issues have common symptoms.  I can relate to the dizzy drifting a bit, as well as the numbness.

Please be careful regardless, but especially while driving, no matter what this turns out to be, it's important.  Something I should have never had done during my 1st MS attack. I was fortunate nothing happened, but looking back, I'll never do it again.

Let us know how you made out w/the Dr. and welcome to the forum! You'll find much support here.

be well,
Shell
