Chronic Headaches

I have been haveing headaches and dizziness for a few monthe now. I have been to the dr and they have taken blood and ran test. My WBC started at 12,000 and has gone to 16,000 in two weeks. I have read that the high WBC could mean an infection somewhere. My systems have changed headache and dizziness is still there, now I am having pain in neck, chest and shoulder on right side. Legs and hurting and tingling. I had shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and brositis in Sep of 08. Could any of this be relateted to the shoylder surgery? I am sceulede for an MRI with and without contrast of the brain and IAC. Is there anything else I need to look for or ask?.

I have had the same syptoms, I started just getting dizzy for a few seconds in Sept.and it has now built up to constanly feeling "off" and headaches and neck pain. I have had an MRA & MRI of the brain, inner ear test, MRA of the neck,  cartoid atery test, you name it. I am now going for vestublar threapy. nothing is working.  Good luck to you, I'll keep you posted.

This question is probably better in the neurology forum, or with the doctor's forum.

Was there a high WBC before the surgery? It could be infection, tingling also can mean nerve or mineral issues - there is just too much going on. A doctor has to evaluate this and more tests need to be run.
