urge to move when i go to sleep/movements during the day

My mother said i used 2 bang my head in my crib at night,that contiuned till i was about 10yrs old,thoughout teen yrs it went 2 a more of a wiggle and this state is with me today. It is an uncontrollable urge,to move the instant i lay down to go asleep.I just heard of rls(restless leg sydrome)do i have that?,but i dont have any pain in my legs. its seems to be a habit,like rocking a baby to sleep.Im then a 28 yr old baby then.Im on no medications! no allergies! a nondrinker/ smoker,no caffienee,im very active.Question#2 is very distrubing for me.
a month ago while driving to work i started to noctice a twich in my upper half(mainly arms,neck)they went away when i wasnt driving.Then they started all the time!.I saw a neroglist right away.He had me take a mri,eeg,blood,test and they all came back normal!(mri shows a conjental malemormation at the base of my neck),but they say thats there from birth! and wouldnt cause this twiching.I think it was the chemicals at work (980 &1180)they r both mold releases (there r many warnings on the can)i beathed these in.i know thats it but doc.says no.but i stop working and now the twiching is going away.will i have premtment damage?from using those.ty for your time! from minnesota!:}

Dear Mark:

Without examining you I really can't say for sure.  I still think this might be restless leg.  But if you don't then by all means seek a second opinion from another neurologist.  If it is benign fasciculations then time will heal you.

Yes ty for taking time for me.i agree some form of rls is what i must have? but i have no pain,except for the urge to move.do you know why i m twiching still from 980&1180 mold releases im a patternmaker(wood) very dusty,and chemicals i might be allregic to erathanes.how can i tell if so?i break out if it gets on my arm and my eye water and cant breath.does stress cause twiching i have had very worse stress b4 and it never did this twiching b4 what could i do i saw a flamily doc. about possible depression and he said i was fine(i think so to)but my neroglist said i wasnt either so why would i still be twiching when i get clam! and relaxed (but it doesnt happen in bed)only rls in bed:(

Dear Mark:

It is difficult to tell you for sure over the internet, but I think you may have restless leg syndrome.  A short trial of a dopa agonist or tegretol would tell you if you did.
