Headaches after pressure of trigger point

i went to to my physiotherapist for my backache and neck aches, and he put pressure on head, im guessing it was some trigger points. its located right above my neck left and right side of my head kind of behind my ears. He put pressure for around 30 secs and it was painful while he was doing it. Ever since he did that i have been getting headaches on the side, back and top of my head. My jaw was really tight and painful, the pain for my jaw has gone down now. The side of my face is feeling tight as well. And this is 2monthes later im still in pain, my neck never hurt this bad and i never had headaches. I dont know what to do now, my doctor didnt say much except to wait a few more weeks. Its been over 2monthes and i get headaches everyday.

I wish I could give you some encouraging info but, like the doctors, I have no idea what could help. All I know is that I have gone thru similar, where a dr or nurse has touched me, put pressure on an area and caused pain lasting weeks or more. Maybe they irritate nerves already irritated and, evidently, make things worse.

I know that was of no help whatsoever but maybe knowing you're not alone helps take some of the sting out of it.

I wish you well and hope you find an answer. If you do, please share :)
