My body tingles

Hi.  During the last 20 years or so I have had tingling in legs, feet, face and arms-and does not stop, and is worse when I am tired.  In fact, all of my symptoms are worse when I am overly tired, which does not take much due to my constant fatigue.  Also, I have blurred vision from time to time, vertigo, balance problems, and a head noise.  My legs have had spasms (above my knee, below my hip), and my legs are becoming increasingly wobbly and weak. I have seen so many different neurologist, and did have two white leisons on my Mri, although my current neurologist states it is not in the area to cause MS.  This is driving me nuts as people think I am a hypocondriac(sp).  Can you help me??

I have very similar symptoms plus others. I have no insurance and no way to to selfpay to see doctors so I've done a lot of online searches. There are many illnesses that have some or all of the symptoms you describe. One that many doctors overlook is vitamin deficiency, especially B12. Look it up and ask your doctor about it.

Good luck and good health.

today my legs are stiff, vibration feeling, pins and needles, but yet wobble.  I really think this is MS.  I was so fatigued early afternoon, I had to come home from work. This condition is getting to me, and I support myself,so what should I do.  I have had this for 20 years, but it is getting worse.  I am coping with the vertigo and balance with all of the medications I am on. Help!!!

Thankyou for responding with interest.  I have had electromyograhy and nerve conduction studies, and i guess they  were ok.  I am currently on gabapentin(400mg-4xdailey).  Also i take effexor for pain and the vertigo-head roar, it does help.  If i did not take the effexor, I could not stand the head roar.  A neurologist for kingsport, tn. prescribed originally prozac for pain, and stated often used for pain.  I like him, he did a  spinal tap, it was clear.  I really think this is ms, i did have leisons on my brain which one neurologist stated could be benign ms.  Please comment.  Thankyou.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
MS lesions are generally found in the white matter. The symptoms could be due to anxiety as well as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Please consult a physician for the diagnosis of anxiety if none of your neurologists is able to find out a cause.  If anxiety is ruled out, please go for electromyography and nerve conduction studies to find out if ALS is the cause. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
