Parson's Down Syndrome

A friend of mine was diagnosed with a degenerative neurologic disorder called Parson's Down Syndrome. What is this disorder and is it related to ALS? Thank you.

Dear Deb:

I am sorry but I am not aware of a neurological disorder named Parson's Down syndrome.  There is a Parsonage-Turner syndrome, Down Syndrome, but no Parson's Down syndrome in my memory bank.

There is also Parkinson's....what were your friend's symptoms, perhaps we can then figure out the name.  (that is if it isn't Parson's Down)  I haven't heard of that either.
