Piriformis groin pain penis pain help

i have what i think is piriformis syndrome.i have had pain goin down the left leg and sometimes in the foot for sometime. after pt one morning i had pain all around the groin area. I even have pain in the head on my penis and sometimes alway through it and now when i ejaculate the head of my penis gets really really big kinda looks like its going to explode.The urologist said he thought it was a neuro problem. Today i noticed that i was sitting for a long time and the pain was in my left buttock leg groin penis and the prostae area. is this nerve related? I have had all blood test everything is normal.I had ct of organs normal. I had mri of lumbar spine they said it was normal. I had mri of pelvis area normal. do you have to get a special mri for the piriformis muscle to show up?

You may indeed have piriformis syndrome.  For some people (about 10% of the general population), the piriformis muscle encases the sciatic nerve, and other nerves in that area.  In this situation, any inflammation of the piriformis brought about by stress or chronic pressure can get the nerves compressed causing all the pain and symptoms.  This is treated by physical therapy as well as heat or ultrasound treatment (as supervised by a physical therapist).  Regards.
