Pituitary Micro-adenoma, need advice pls!

I have posted a few comments in regards to a recent diagnosis of a pituitary tumor. i am really frustrated and am unsure as to what step to take from here. i am only 24 yrs old and have a 2 yr old son... i was told on jan31 of this year that a pituitary tumor showed up on my MRI. my neuro sent me to a NS who then sent me to get yet another MRI, along with hormone blood work. I originally went to the doc due to headaches, numbness in my arm and blurry vision. My neuro initially looked for MS lesions and claimed this as an "accidental finding". after a 3 wk wait for my results i finally heard from NS - well, his nurse - and she said my blood work was fine and although my dr did find a small sign of a micro-adenoma we will sit and wait and in six mths have another scan. I have a few issues with this "diagnosis". First of all i feel "mislead" due to the fact that i called 3 times for my results and was told i'd get a call back - but recieved nothing. was promised my dr would call - he never did. The nurse AND receptionists all claimed how busy my doctor has been and i'm worried he may have "rushed" thru this. Not to mention when i got my blood drawn, the lady that did this was TERRIBLE. My nurse told me i did not have to fast or anything before my blood work. was this correct? could this have to do with anything not showing up? The issue i am having is that my dr never asked me about ANY of my symptoms during my visit and (to me) this is a big deal now bc this is turning out to be a big burden on my life. My headaches are debilitating at times and i am sometimes so weak i can't carry my own son. I have many symptoms of a hormone "problem" - dry skin, mood swings, irregular period, blurry/cloudy vision, hair falling out, milk leakage, can't stand the cold...gosh, the list goes on! i am really frustrated and i apologize for my rambling. any advice will help. should i seek another opinion? i was thinking vanderbilt pituitary center? I requested my results be faxed to my work, so i hopefully will get actual numbers on monday. Six months to "wait" seems so far, especially with the pain i have been in. any advice/tips will help!!! thanks

have you heard back from your doc yet?  i suggest a second opinion.  my 13 y/o is having a lot of the same probs and was dx w/ a cyst in her pituitary gland.  the neuro doc did the same thing to us and he did it while she was hospitalized.  he did not return my calls or the nurses call while she was in the hosp.  for 3 days.  needless to say, he is no longer her doc and we are going for a 2nd opinion april 9.  my dght has not been to school since jan and is in the process of being taught "homebound".  let me know what they say please.
