Possible pituitary microadenoma questions

I was told that it looks as though I could possibly have a small pituitary microadenoma.  About five years ago I complained my eyes felt like they did not tract correctly (with one eye somtimes looking smaller than the other), I complained of headaches above my nose around my eyes, behind my eyes, intollerance to cold, but would sweat profusuley.  Since having the MRI I was told it could be an "artifact" or it could be a microadenoma, they are just not sure, but they stated we "100% this is not causing your symptoms.  Any ideas on where to go from here?  I know my body very well and things have never been the same since I broke my nose 5 years ago.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Pituitary microadenomas can be asymptomatic, or they can be symptomatic. They can produce symptoms due to pressure on the adjacent structures in the brain like optic nerve or they can produce hormonal symptoms. Pituitary gland secreted releasing factors which stimulate endocrine glands like thyroid and adrenals to secrete hormones.
There is a possibility that you are suffering from thyroid dysfunction which can cause symptoms like profuse sweating, cold intolerance.
I would suggest yu to consider seeking a second opinion on this. Take care!

They said it was probably benign and non functioning, but I've seen quite an extensive list of symptoms you can have with non functioning bening microadenomas.
