Strange Symptoms

Hi,

I had protected sex with a CSW around 4 months back. Here is what happened after that :-

1. Around 3 weeks after that I felt like being sick. I had a sore throat and strange muscle twitches and pain in my joints and fingers. I still have these muscle twitches after 4 months.
2. I tested for HIV after around 15 weeks, and the reports came back negative.

I'm still wondering what else can cause these muscle twitches. I can feel that my body is not same as before, I mean there is something wrong, but I'm not sure. I don't have any  sore throat anymore, but I still have muscle twitches and muscle/joint pain.

Can anyone please comment on this, I mean what can be the reason? Is it HIV?

Thanks
Matt

Hi Simran,

Thanks for your reply.

What are the other causes of muscle twitching? Can anxiety cause twitches? What are the possible remedies for this

As I mentioned, I tested negative for HIV Iafter 15 weeks, do I need to test again?

Thanks a lot.

Hello Dear,
Clinical symptoms do not determine the positive or the negative relation with HIV.Only the immunological assay can determine the positivity or negativity of HIV.Twitching might be a symptom butnot the basis of diagnosing HIV.
