TIA??

If a TIA is a sign of larger stroke to come, How can I prevent that?

i am a 47 year old female i have had tia'a according to my brain mri results. i have seen two nuerologists and they both came to the same conclusion, because of my results i am at higher risk for heart attacks and strokes. i was told to take a baby aspirin 81 mgs. daily . hope that helps.good luck

thank you I will be seing my neurologist on Monday.  I will ask him about that.

Depends on the cause. I know my grandmother and other elderly people I know had some TIA's and they were advised by their neurologist to take baby asprin as a preventative medication but you'd have to speak that over with a neurologist and see if they think that makes sense for you.
