but, when i was at the hospital however, the antibiotic machine would get clogged or wouldn't work, or w/e.
i told my mom about the problem, who is a nurse, and she is confused because after surgery, i was on antibiotics while in the hospital. My urine isn't cloudy, but a clear yellow color. Is UTI still possible?

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.
Post catheter pain can be of several causes. One common cause is a urinary tract infection (or UTI). This can be diagnosed by a urinalysis and culture. One complication from a UTI in males is epidiymitis, which is inflammation/infection in the epididymis of the testes. This can lead to one sided scrotal pain and swelling. I would recommend that you follow up with your primary care physician. You may need a referral to a urologist and perhaps an ultrasound of the right scrotum. Treatment includes antibiotics and NSAIDs. If left untreated, complications such as infertility, multiorgan infection, and abscess could result.
Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
