Hello Paultilly, thank you for answering me. Ive been waiting for a response. Ive been so confused with my symptoms. My eye twitch has somewhat stopped but the vibrations I still get. I mostly get them at night trying to sleep. I have no idea what it can be from. Im trying to get some health insurance but its so expensive. My husband works for a place where they do not supply insurance and Im a house wife. Now Im trying to find a job on weekends just to get the insurance. Im so afraid somthing is wrong with me and there is a possible chance I wont see my daughter grow up. Every bad thought is running through my head. I still have energy and can do things. My sleep has improved. Its just those darn vibrations that scare me. What is it from? I also feel a little shakey through the day. Do you?
hi gennie yes i sometimes get that feeling but not as oftenas you state. i sometimes sit in the chair and i can feel the muscles twitching up the sides of my back and it makes me move away from the chair to stop the trembling sensation. i have suffered with this condition for over 15 years now and my heart goes out to anyone else that have these jumping and twitching nerves / muscles they sure do make ya life hard if only there could be a magic cure. the worst thing of all is trying to explain to other people what it is like because they think you are all mad
I have had a buzzing vibration sound in the right side of my head (off and on) for a year. All CT's and MRI's of the brain have been normal. Now I have a twitch on the top of my tongue on the left side. I am self-employed and cannot run to the doctor every time something is wrong and I definitely do not want to be named neurotic! I have a significant amount of stress (I am taking care of my Dad in my home. He has Alzheimer's) but I exercise, eat right and sleep well. Has anyone experienced this or know what my next step would be in finding out what this could be?
Hello, I am a 26yr old female. Always been healthy body wise. For the past couple of months I have had a right eye twitch every 20 to 30 sec. I increased my potassium, magnesium and i take a daily vitmin. Ive increased water intake and sleep. It helped a little. Soon after I started to expirence leg twitches, than they moved to my arms and so on. In the middle of Feb I was in bed, and the bed was vibrating it took me a second to realize it was my legs. Now it is my legs and arms and somtimes my hands and feet tingle or go numb. The vibrating seems to only happen when Im trying to sleep or realax. My husband cannot feel the vibrating, only me. So he seems to think its in my head. If so why would I choose vibrating and twitches? I cant sleep my appitite is cut and I have shortness of breath, my heart is pounding when this happens. The vibrating wakes me up. I do have anxiety. Ive always had it. I stress a lot. Could all of this be from stress and anxiety? Bed time is when I think of everything that stresses me out. Maybe this is all tied together? Has anyone ever heard of someone complaining of vibrations along with muscle twitches?
mine are actual spasms where you can feel and see the muscles moving under your skin
I DON'T REALLY KNOW IF SHOULD BE WORRIED BUT I AM BECAUSE IT SCARES N=ME WHEN IT HAPPENS , I HAVE SEEN A NUROLOGIST THAT REALLY SAID HE HAD NOT HEARD OF MY PRBLEMS SONOW I AM WAITING FOR AN APPT WITH ORAL SURG, I CAN'T SEE THEM UNTIL 3/27 SO THAT IS STILL 6 MORE WEEKS OF FEAR FOR ME . DO YOU HAVE TWITCHING IN YOUR TONGUE OR SPASMS? SURE HOPE WE ALL GET BETTER, ITS NOT A GOOD FEELING WHEN PEOPLE THINK ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD.
I am a 24 y/o female. Began having dizziness/strange symptoms a couple of months ago. had some numbness in my mouth and tongue. went to the MD who said its just anxiety, and sent me away. symptoms persisted, and sometimes i have headaches, dull ones, in different spots on my head, not terrible, but annoying. i've never had migranes.
Went to see a neurologist,a nd had an MRI which came back normal...they tell me i'm fine.
however, my symptoms are still here...i get tingling once in a while, headaches, muscle twitches....should I be worrried??
no ive never had it in my tounge but in every other part of the body
Twitches are known in medical terms as fasciculations or myoclonus
They are quite common in the general population and are usually normal
Twtiches in the absence of muscle weakness or wasting is unlikely to be from a serious disease such as ALS or MS, especially over time as in your case.
They can be exacerbated in some people by cold, exercise, or some medications, such as thyroid hormone. Thyroid disturbance is one of the causes of 'twitches'. They can also occur as a benign syndrome with ot without cramps.
They are generally not realted to B12, B12 usually causes either a neuropathy in the legs, or visual problems.
Good luck
C3 DID YOU HAVE TWITCHING UNDER THE TONGUE ALSO. I JUST HAVE IT ONCE IN A WHILE I THINK SOMETHIMES IT IS EITHER MY NERVES OR THAT I CLINCH MY JAWS TO TIGHT AND THAT MAY CAUSE IT , I DO NOT KNOW AND NEITHER DOES THE DR'S
hello i have suffered with this problem for over 10 years now i get this in the back part of my lower legs and in my neck and down my back even in my hands and feet some days is worse than others but it is allways there. I have had a nerver test done at a neuroligcal hospital but this was ok. My doctor i think thought i was mad so i gave up going to see him but 8 years down the road i still have the same condition it is also strange to note that sometimes when i sit down and eat it starts the muscle in my leg into a massive twitch and only stoping chewing stops it ( strange but true) i have learned to live with this but it can be very hard somedays. The final conclusion was that i had myokymia to which there seems to be no help
THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTS, I DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SYMPTOMS AT ALL . IT ONLY LAST A SECOND AND MOST OF THE TIME IT,S INVOLVED AROUND EATING. AND ONLY ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH . NEUROLOGIST DOES NOT SEEM TO BE CONCERNED. I JUST WONDER IF IT IS NERVES.
Hi always feraful...
In this case, you can be with a beginning of convulsive crisis if some of other symptoms they appear during those TWITCHING in the thong.
