hi my name is john im 29 years old and i have been in construction most of my life(drywall instalation) for the past three years i have had cronic pain between my sholder blades on my upper back. i cant think of any injury that may of caused this but it is realy debilatating and the doctors cant tell me what is wrong cause the exrays all come back fine. is there something that we are all missing in diagnoseing this problem. its not a muscle or lung pain. it seems to be in the disk or the vertabra. it kinda feels like my back needs to pop like all the time. it has caused me to stop working and i realy want to find out what is going on so i can go back to work. thanx john lafayette
Back pain between the shoulder blades could be due to a compressed spinal nerve due to pathology in the vertebral column . Please get an MRI of spine done . Other serious causes of pain between the shoulder blades are – Heart attack , Gall bladder disease or Gallstones , Liver cancer and oesophageal cancer . Please consult a physician and neurologist for the examination , diagnosis and treatment . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
