dizziness and sensory neuropathy type symptoms

I've written a few months ago and appreciate your help.
I've had tinnitus, dizziness and burning sensation on my skin of arms, jaw, legs and sometimes back.  It is more frequent as time goes on.  b12 was 311, ana, sed rate, crp, immune panel, MRI,thyroid and basic bloodwork was normal. 2 neurologists tole me my exam was not normal (left side out of equilibrium with right) and that is whats making me dizzy. They don't know what is causing it.

Questions: past 4 years i've had 4 mercury fillings removed due to cracks and have 4 more to go.  Could it be related to that.

I have a very healthy appetite (red meat, eggs, milk, fatty foods) but my cholesterol is very low (total 100, ldl 45, trig 44)  my b12 was somewhat low.  could ther be a relation

lastly I've been breaking out in cold sores about every other week.   am on valtrex which helps but still get them- could these neuro problems be rellated to the herpes virus.

thank you so much for your time

1) whereas mercury is contained in some type of fillings, it i snot thought to be a clinically significant cause of neurological symptoms, although this is controversial in some circles

2) B12 takes years to become low through diet alone, so this is likely not related

3) herpes can rarely cause inflammation of the spinal cord which coudl cause some sensory symptoms related to the arms or torso, I cannot comfirm this in your case over the internet, in any case it is usually the sequelae of a previous infection and only symptomatic treatment is useful. An MRI of teh spinal cord or a spinal fluid analysis could help distinguish. Dizziness and tinnitus would not be related in this instance.

I don't mean to but into  this question but I have been trying to post a question for about 2 months but never seem to find the time when they might be accepted but in reading this post I noted a question reguarding B-12. I am also B-12 deficient.with B-12 starting out @ 89 four months ago & now after bi-weekly injections results are 348. I am still experienceing symptoms of numbness & tingling in extremities & sometimes the face. My question is/ With the normal range of B-12 being so wide what is an optimal level to shoot for hopefully where symptoms may subside? I have also had many problems with my thyroid this past year but I'm finally in normal range now. If my B-12 has been depleted like this for a long time can these symptoms be permenant? I heard it takes 8-9 years for your lab to show a deficency, is that true? Thank you for your response.

I forgot to mention above that I am a 44y/o female, with normal to low bloodpressure and no other health problems.  I've been getting cold sores since I was a kid and took acyclovir since me twenties.  Can that med cause neuropathy symptoms.
I've cut way down on my sugar and nutrasweet consumption.
thanks again
