A chiropractor might also be able to relieve pressure from a pinched nerve in your neck. I had the same numbness in the same two fingers. Hope it helps.

Based on your descripition, the area of numbness sounds like it is within the ulnar nerve distribution. Possible causes include injury to the ulnar nerve, or possibly a pinched nerve in your neck. I would recommend that you see a neurologist who can better differentiate between these two possibilities and recommend treatment.

dude.... sounds like Ulnar nerve entrapment.   Its the same thing a carpal tunnel but involving a different nerve.    dont worry about it....

No, but I have the same symptoms.  I do lean on my elbows alot at the computer and have bought a flat screen monitor so that I can sit more directly in front of the screen. Also play the violin from time to time.  I am trying to splint the wrist and take it easy, however it is my 'right hand' left hand, the one I mostly use.  I am sure that it is nerve related, so am trying conservative treatment at home before bothering my doctor.  Let us know what else you know.

Do you use the computer a lot or rest on your elbows?  You might be irritating your ulnar nerve if you rest your weight on your elbows a lot.

no I dont understand, because I don't rest on my elbows and this is happening more frequently now.And also a small strip on the lateral or outside of my left arm is kind of numb, but not as much as in my hand and pinky. But it doesn't go all the way to my elbow.I am a massage therapist and am worried if this gets worst later on it might effect my work.Any more answers?
