Two months ago I had persistant headache mostly in the back of my head which lasted for two weeks. When I would wake in the morning I had headache mostly in back of the head.I noticed when I would read something which needed concentration pain would come and would be higher. Also when turning head there would be more pain. This pain was unusual for me,because I usually do not have headaches and if I do it is once in two or more years and it lasts several hours at most and than goes away.I went to ER,becuse I worried that I might have had an hemorrhage stroke and told them what I told you, they examined me for signs of stroke, but did not do CAT,MRI or any blood tests and I was released the same day and told to follow up with my doctor.I am healthy in my late 40s male and I don't have any chronic diseases, like high blood pressure, diabetes etc.Now I don't have any headaches, but I wonder what caused my headache 2 months ago. 1.Do yo think headache was caused by a small hemorrhage stroke? 2. I read somewhere that aneurysm, angioma, hemangioma in the brain can cause sudden headache and do you think my headache was caused by the above three conditions? 3. What is the best test (CAT,MRI) to find out if a person has aneurysm, angioma or hemangioma in the brain and can the above conditions be diagnosed with an MRI,but without any IV injections or contrasts? 4.Can old small hemorrhage strokes be diagnosed with a plain MRI, IV MRI,CAT etc? 5. If the above conditions can not be diagnosed by an plain MRI with what IV injections or contrasts can the above be diagnosed?6.Can small hemorrhage stroke be diagnosed with EKG and is systolic blood pressure more important than diastolic for prevention of aneurysm, angiomas and hemangioms in the brain?Thank you
