many symptoms, no answers

flj
I'm a 28 year old female. My symptoms started 1 1/2 years ago with burning swollen lips with red blotchy patches. My cheeks became red, dry, tight, with burning. My eyes became red and sensitive.  6 mo. ago my hands started to have a burning sensation.  They turn red/purple and burn with slight movement/work.  About the same time I started experiencing a strange heavy/pulling sensation on the right side of my face and can notice drooping on that side. My face is slightly swollen, more so on the side with the pullling. The rash on my face is also worse on that side along the bridge of my nose onto the cheek and I get a strange sensation into the muscle. I get random itchy bumps on my face/neck/chest.
I've been tested for lyme, lupus, vitamin b def., had lip biopsy.    I've been sent to a dermatologist, rheumatologist, allergist, and am going to a neurologist in a few weeks. Nobody can figure out why this is happening. None of my symptoms ever go away.  They've been consistantly getting worse, with more added, over time.  My lips and whole face are now sensitive, red, dry, blotchy, and slighlty swollen, with acne for the first time on my forhead. My eyes are dry and red and burn. The heaviness/droop on the right side is slowly getting worse. Sometimes if I yawn I get a cool rush back in my cheek. I've also been getting hand tremors and finger twitches. Could all of this be connected?
Does this sound familiar? What are possibilities they should check for? I'm in the dark and frightened and frustrated. Any insight you could give will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Can you give me more info on this?  How is this diagnosed, tests, etc.?  Thanks for the comments.

Understand completely how you feel.  Same symptoms from what Drs. call, Severe Sensory Polyneuropathy with autonomic and motor involvement.  Condition is progressive.  What has worked for me:

Meds, PT, Walking, Correct Diet, Fighting Attitude.

A number of conditions come to mind as you describe your symptoms.

Sarcoidosis can cause a red nodular rash on the face (called 'lupus pernio, not realted to the other lupus), a neuropathy and facial nerve dysfuntion. It can be difficult to diagnose but a conjuctival biopsy (of the eyelid lining) or evidence of sarcoid on a chest xray or MRI scan of the brain or spinal cord would support the diagnosis. Blood tests looking for ACE, and/or high calcium/immunoglobulins can also support the diagnosis.

Alternatively an autoimmune disease is possible such as lupus, sjogrens syndrome, mixed connective tissue disease. Again diagnosis can be difficult and is usually by biopsy of an affected area such as skin.

Some forms of tumor can infiltrate the skin, and although less likely this could be looked into also (such as T Cell cutaneous leukemia - the course seems too long for this however, a skin biopsy can diagnose)

Please check for food allergies especially wheat and gluten.  You can have a blood test done to check for delayed sensitivities.  If you can't get a doc to order the tests then just quit eating the top 10 allergens and stick to green vegetables with olive oil on them.  If you eat a lot of a certain type of meat then avoid that meat and eat new ones with nothing on them.  Give this at least 3 months.  You can then add back one allergen at a time and see how you react.

Forgot to mention dizzy lightheaded spells I've been getting, while seated, since this has started.
