nerve damage due to laparoscopy

I had a laproscopy on my left side due to a cyst on my ovary. Ever since the surgery, I have had
pain in my left hip, numbness on the upper part of my thigh and pain on the outside of the thigh.
The surgery was on May 29th, 3 months ago, and my condition has not changed. What can be
done for this? I know it's a direct result of the surgery.

I have an appointment with a neurologist. Would a physiotherapist be better?
Thank you so much.

Hello Dear,

There could be laparoscopic ilioinguinal nerve damage due to trauma casuing thenumbness. . The gynaecologists should have a knowledge of the anatomical relations of the inguinal nerves in the lower abdominal wall, so that iatrogenic injury can be avoided.
