Sorry to hear about your pain. Unfortunately some medications have side effects that increase appetite. A few tips to help you with your hunger. Try to drink water or non-calorie drinks when you are hungry or eat non-calorie foods, such as diet jello. Best of luck.
Thank you so much for your advise i have already been trying to keep to 1500 but its hard the tablets im on lyrica 375mg a day cause my appetite to increase so im always hungry. To know i am in the range of my ideal weight is a God send i thought i was at least two stone over weight.

Thanks for your advise
Thank you for your height and weight. You are within the normal weight for your height. I suggest an intake of 1500 calories to maintain your weight. If you start to gain weight, then bring the calorie level to 1200 calories; however, do not go with any less calories. Less then 1200 calories will bring you into a high risk of becoming malnourished. When anyone is dieting and exercising, measuring your waist is a better indicator of weight loss then the weight scale. Exercising causes our bodies to tone up our muscles (muscle is heavier then fat) so you may not see weight loss, however, your waistline is decreasing.
Suggestion for exercising - Swimming or exercising in the water does not put a strain on the body while exercising and you are able to tone up.
Hope this helps you.
here is my height 5'7 and 13st 7pounds
I would need your height and weight (in kilograms or inches) to calculate your calorie intake.
Thank you.
