Thank you for your answers. That helps me to have a greater understanding of what you are eating. I suggest you eat 5-6 small meals a day. That helps with digestion and you will be able to get more nutrients into your body. Stay with the foods you can tolerate so you do not have attacks and eat low fat foods, too. Soy products are good substitution for dairy products. Ask your MD if the tests you took ruled out Celiac disease. If your MD did not do testing for it, ask him to do it just to be sure one way or the other. It is important Celiac disease is ruled out with IBS. Thank you again.

No problem for the questions.  I can't eat anything mexican or italian because of the  spices and the grease. i have to use soy milk  cause I'm now have lactose problems . i don't really have problems with bread products. i try to eat in medium sized meals never to much or it can cause problems . i have myself pretty much trained on what to eat in order to not get sick . which i have had maybe 4  times of sickness in the last couple months one really bad but other than that i've been great just really tired so i figured i'm not getting enough nutrition. As far as tests i had a colonoscopy and endoscopy( not sure if i spelt that right ) all they found was that i had alittle infamation in my colon but that was it .  but in blood tests they did find that i have hashimotoes thyroiditis.  i hope this helps .  Thanks again ~

Have you been tested for Celiac disease? Many people, who have been diagnosed with IBS, really have Celiac disease and need to stay away from gluten products.
What foods do you eat, tolerate, and the amounts? What foods you are unable to tolerate? Sorry for the questions, however, I need to know in order to help you with your question. Thank you.
