Consistent pain in arm and shoulder

I am asking this on behalf of my mom. She is having consistent pain in her left arm and shoulder. We did numerous tests and physiotherapy exercises also, but it aint helping her. all medical reports seems to be OK. nothing unusual. she is in her mid 50's now. regular healthy diet and previous medical history.......... please help, i cant see her in pain. AS the doctors are of no use really

thanks for the info, shall ask the doctors and see what they have to say....are you treated completely for the same??? what is you age?? sorry to ask........my moms 50 now.........shall keep posted......:)

I had shoulder and arm pain, went to several doctors, had MRI which showed nothing, turned out I had something called thoracic outlet syndrome.  Worth looking up to compare the symptoms, took a while to get mine diagnosed and treated.

Did they do an MRI?  That can sometimes show the smallest of issues that cause great pain.  Maybe get a 2nd opinion, too .. just some thoughts. You are a great advocate for your Mom and don't give up.
