Possible cause of back and side body pain include spinal issues, neuro-muscular causes, renal infections/ inflammations, referred pain due to pancreatitis, gastritis, cardiovascular issues etc. It would be best to have this evaluated by a primary care physician and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
