Hi there!
This might not be a potential case for lawsuit. These are the known side effects of celebrex, which may be more pronounced in some individuals. Though celebrex carries the risk of gastritis and GI ulceration, like other NSAIDS; the incidence is slightly lower as compared to others. Symptom of GI reflux can be aggravated by it. Rhythm abnormalities (early de-polarisation/ re-polarisation) may not be related to celebrex use. The heart complications of celebrex are due to an increased incidence of clot formation and consequent heart attacks/ strokes. A few experimental cases of arrhythmias have been shown in animals, but these have not been significantly proved in humans. Other allergic symptoms are probably linked to the medication, and the medication may be stopped if it is believed that the benefits do not outweigh the risks or that the drug is doing more harm than good. You may like to consult your doctor for the same.
Hope this was useful.
Take care!
I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with your meds.
I'm no lawyer, however, I don't think you would have much of a case if you did file against the manufacturer of Celebrex. GI problems, rashes, and even heart problems are documented possible side effects of Celebrex and many other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories. The GI problems are the most common and the heart problems and rashes are listed as being in the category of SEVERE side effects of the med and if you experience any of them, to contact your doctor right away. The anemia could be a result of stomach bleeding, which is also listed as a possible side effect.
I'm hoping that your doctors have already taken you off of the med, but if not, you may want to definitely consider asking them to do so based on your side effects.
