Abdominal pain after ovarian laparoscopic surgery

I had laparoscopic surgery 2 weeks ago to remove 2 dermoid cysts on my right ovary. About 9 days after the surgery I started having pain on my lower right side that moves sometimes to my side. The pain has gotten worse the last few days but is not intolerable. I didnt feel that great when I woke up this morning and I have a little pain in my right thigh.  My doctor is out for another week but I was just wondering if this kind of pain is normal after surgery and if so how long it usually lasts and what I can do to ease the pain. I am just concerned it may be a hernia instead of just healing pains. Thanks for any assistance.
