Need a Drs. Opinion..

Hi I am 24 have given birth to one child and have been experiencing a lot of pain in my lower abdominal area. I have also been noticing small spotting with some vaginal discharge. Some lower back and pelvic pain. This pain led me to the ER and after many test I have decided to have a screening for ovarian cancer. Before I do I would like some information on what types of questions I need to ask and what types of test I should make sure I get taken care of. Here are the results from my transvaginal ultrasound. If you could maybe explain what the doctor was seeing in my exam that would really help. Here are the results:

Uterus  cm: 10.0x4.1x5.1
Endometrial Thickness mm:8.2
Fibroids: no
Free Fluid: yes
Righ Ovary: cm:3.1x1.8x2.4
cysts: yes
Adnexa Normal: no

Left Ovary cm:2.8x1.4x2.5
cysts: no
Adnexa Normal: yes

There is a complex 2.4x2.4x.1.7cm mass adjacent to the right ovary. Patient had a negative pregnancy test. Left ovary remarkable in appearance. Small quantitiy of free fluid is seen within the pelvis.

Also, i've taken a pregnancy test that came back negative and i'm 37.

I have four kids but the last child i had was 5 years ago.  I have had what i think is major discharge in my urine and my urine smells.  My lower abdomen and back have been hurting and around september 25th i felt bloated and have been peeing about every 20 min.  I have also been very tired since then.  Two days later i called my doctor and made an appointment and started taking vitamins.  After i started taking the vitamins i was not as tired but still tired and irritable and not as painful.

you need a pap smear and pelvic exam to evaluate why you are having abnormal bleeding

Hi, I still am not sure about what test I need, I recently also noticed that after intercourse I bleed and it is a bit uncomfortable, should this be something to be worried about?

How long ago did you have your baby?
I am wondering whether you may have an infection in the uterus. that can cause pain and abnormal bleeding. This is treated with antibiotics. Occasionally a person may need a D&C to clean out any old tissue int he uterus. however, with your normal looking report, I would base a diagnosis of infection on physical examination.

Your ultrasound looks like a normal ultrasound for a 24 year old
