Bladder Problems, Ovarian Cysts, Bad PAP all at once????

I've been very sick for over 8 weeks & looking for suggestions on what to do next.  I am 29 years old, 2 children.

I went to OBGYN for bloating, cramping, back pain, frequent urination, tiredness & nausea. I was given a PAP as I was due & a urine test. Urine came back positive for a bladder infection, so I started on antibiotics.  3 days later (Sunday) went to the ER as my pain was so severe. Had an abdonimal ultrasound (OK) & was told it was muscular pain & sent home. Fast forward through 5 weeks of the same symptoms, 3 more rounds of antibiotics, countless dr. visits (OBGYN, Urologist, GP), this is what has been found:

**PAP came back with mild dysplasia, biopsy was performed, 2 places on my cervix will be frozen soon (I had the same thing 6 yrs ago).
**Urine cultures show blood & an uncommon bacteria (staph). Although I was treated with 4 different antibiotics, urologist still isn't sure it was a bladder or kidney infection, but my painful & frequent urination is better.
**Bladder ultrasound shows my bladder wouldn't empty fully. I was given Flomax to reduce bladder spasms & allow my bladder to empty.
**IV Pyleogram, urodynamic studies, abdominal CT scan all normal.
**CA125 normal
**TVUltrasound shows several small cysts on my right ovary, largest is 4 cm. Dr. suggests a follow up ultrasound in 2 months.

I am hoping for all of your thoughts on the following:
1. Has anyone with cysts also had bladder problems?
2. Should I insist on an ultrasound sooner? Or insist upon the laproscopy?
3. Is there anything else that I should be checked for?

Thank you!!

im wondering if i have a cyst. i've been having cramping around my thigh region like menstrual cramps for about a month now... but no period. then i started having pains in my lower left abdomen.... now i also occassionally have pains in my lower right abdomen, but not as much as the left.  does anyone know what this could be from? i have heard ovarian cysts? im not sure.

prior to this i was concerned about pregnancy from fingering with semen on the fingers, but took three tests since oct13th when the pregnancy scare happened, so i doubt im pregnant. then someone mentioned that my nausea boating and cramping were symptoms of an ovarian cyst

I went to the ER and had a katscan they found out it wasn't a cyst but instead a mucsinous tumor.  I had it removed on 8/20/07 it weighed 2 1/2 lbs.  I had constant yeast infections and loss of hair.  Now that is removed all symptons have cleared.  I can't believe I was missed diagnosed.  Luckily I had just a bikini scar and healed with no problems my first surgery in my life @ 25 years.  It was benign.

I also found out the same day as you that I have 4 inch cyst on my left ovary. I was told to wait 6 weeks. I can't wait that long so I am going for a second opinion tomorrow morning. I am surprised you aren't having much pain! I am in horrible pain, I believe it could go away on it's own but... I don't think it will! Did you have CA 125 test? I did mine was 14. I know those test aren't always a good indication. But I am believing mine is not cancer. I am just not sure I could handle that. I do also have a lot of bladder problems. My bladder fills full all the time. I pee then I pee again. Sometimes I will get up because I think I am done then I will have to sit down again. I have had probably 6 bladder infections in the last 2 years. The weird thing is it doesn't feel like a bladder infection... No burning just pressure.  I f anyone has any comments let me know.

I have a 5 inch cyst too!  I just found out on August 8th.  I am told to wait 2 months before deciding on surgery but don't know if I should. They said it could rupture and require emergency surgey and be painful or wrap itself around my fallopian tube and also experience exreme pain.   I have no kids and it seems like the cyst came out of no-where!  3 weeks ago I noticed my lower abodomen started to get hard but I had no pain.  Thought I was constipated didn't want to see a doctor yet.  The hardness didn't go away and here I am.  I am doing blood work to make sure it is not cancerous.  My faith says it could go away on it's own but I am terrified.  Looking to Holistic remedies as well.. stress relief etc...Praying all the time!

I am 15 years old. I keep getting cysts and don't know why.
I use the bathroom and when I'm finished it feels like not all of my urine is coming out. Mom says I worry too much and that it's not I big deal. Sometimes I feel very sharp pain in my vagina. I want to see a doctor but mom won't let me. I want to figure out how to get rid of it and if I'll have to use medication. I already had a surgery last year (sometime around spring of 2004) and I hope I don't need another one. Just recently, I've gain 21 pounds and been feeling nauseous lately.  In addition, I've been feeling pulsating all over my body. Can anyone help me?

Did you have a blood test CA 125 ?

If you didn't, you may ask your doctor about the blood test CA 125.

I have read a lot about that test as well, but no, my doctor has not done anything at all since my 1st US. She hasn't tested me for anything & feels it's only a cyst that is hemorrhaging. I don't feel comfortable with that diagnosis at all & would love to have that test done. I am going to ask her about that!!! Thank you for reminding me about that test.

Thank you so much for your prayers! You will be in mine as well. There is no pain, that's the weird thing. According to what I've read & been told, cysts my size that are hemorrhaging like mine is are usually very painful. I can't feel a thing! Every once in a while I'll feel a tinge in that area, but nothing like I should. That's what worries me! Also from what I've read, people that have ovarian cancer don't know it until it's too late, which tells me that they don't feel anything either or else they would have had things checked out long before. It was a fluke that they even caught mine in the first place. They were doing an MRI on my hip & left leg due to an injury I sustained and the head Radiologist saw the mass, called up my Dr. & told her I needed to get in for an ultrasound. If I hadn't gotten injured, I never would have known about this cyst, or whatever it is. Ugh!!!

I have a 5 INCH cyst in my right ovary & my doctor is making me wait 6 weeks since my last ultrasound, very frustrating!!! They say cysts need that much time to shrink or go away on their own, etc. I want to get one sooner too!!! I haven't had any bladder problems with my cyst, other than I'm going more often than I used to. A lot of folks here are saying cm when they refer to their cysts & mine is in inches - the size of a tennis ball in diameter, but she still wants to wait. It's pretty frustrating, isn't it??? I have the same question you do, should I demand the US be sooner. If you get an answer, let me know!!!
