It is Cyber Party!  Drop in, introduce yourself and relax.;  For one night we have some fun! 1 & 99 percenters alike!  We forget about the beast that berought us all here and PARTY!!!!
      The first Cyber Part was just about two years ago and we became a Neighborhood then and there!  Tell us about your Neighborhood back home, I call mine The Canopy because of all the great oaks.  My best friend Sharon lives right across the street.  But I have to say, she no more dearer to me than the friends I made here, in my cyber neighborhood!
     So tell us what cyber goodies you brought and drop them off at the table by the hot tub.  There is king crab and cheesecake, help yourself!  Anyone want to be bartender?  We will have a virtual soak later!  I am expecting old friends and, hopefully new ones too!  Everyone is welcome!  MV

I'm not under a canopy of great oaks, but my yard here in Peoria is full of maple trees. I guess that gives my neighborhood the name Maple Shade. Just recently dropped in this neighborhood and have been happy I did.  marie

Well my name is Leslee and my Mom is shoving me up to the pc, she won't let me have my dessert, Apple Pie, until  I check in here. Mom, my 3 brothers and I live in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I have another brother that lives in Arizona. I am married to Albert, 27 years now, we live on an acreage just outside of the city limits. I have 3 grown daughters, 2 married and since I was diagnosed they have given us 2 grandchildren. Such fun it is. Youngest daughter is on her way to getting a degree in microbiology.  I also have 3 hairy children, I am a dog person.  I work full time in a facility that provides work opportunities for adults with disablities. I don't like having this disease, but since I do I intend to do all I can to beat it.   I see Mom has my picture up there for all to see, this was taken at the wedding of my middle daughter, I sure didn't know then, what I had going on inside of me. Mom helps me by searching for new things I can take along to the clinic for their approval. I feel I know some of you very well as she tells me your names and how you are all doing,   She told me I had to bring along something to share, so I brought along my favorite Amish wines.  The cranberry wine is my favorite and it fits right into my idea of good things to help me. I can't stay very long as it is bitter cold tonight and we want to get home and "let the dogs out' , this is one of the things I did even when I was so sick, at times I don't know who was really walking who. Especially when the Lab got tangled up with a skunk,  no one wanted to be near me the next day at work.  I am so glad to be able to say thanks to all of you for helping Mom get some really good advice for me.  it has helped me more than you will ever know, plus it keeps her out of trouble.   Leslee

Frozen or on the rocks? Salt on the rim?  Margaritas I can Do!  Reminds me of when my late collegue and I were commuting to DC every week to teach.  Whenever we left, we would wait for the departure at this bar and have Margaitas.l  On the rocks, his without salt mine with~!  Good memories!  MV

Hi gals! :)
First off I'm not the "party" type in life -- and my imagination isn't up to par -- so this cyber party thing, must say is a bit strange. :) And I don't drink -- I'm crazy enough without the alcohol on board so I wouldn't make a great bartender. I think I'm gonna take a seat towards the back of the room and do what I do best "people watch" for a while. :)

Maybe I better find out what she is telling you about me.  She tells me you are going to be a doctor, thats great. She also is telling me about you Mary and your diving, that sounds so good, I was and guess I still might be a swimmer and diver; just from the boards, I love being in or on the water. She tells me about Becky, Jan, Deandra, Anna,  Kim, all the Marys and Chris's,  and so on and on. To me it is amazing that so many and from so many different places have come together here.

Alisha,  my daughter is in her 4th year now and doing her  pre clinical trials  in several different locations here. Lot of driving, but she knows it is worth it. She wants to get her MA in Micro.

Hi you guys!  And, to Leslee, it is so nice to meet you. I remember when your Mom first started posting, so I feel as though I know both of you well. But, it is so special that tonight, the night of the first Party in some time, you were able to come on board.

I just got in. The snow was no problem, but MAN....the FREEEEEZING cold I could do without. Is it VFrogs (Gosh...did I get that right? Colleen...) anyway, I think she was wanting to have us send some cold weather her way. I will try. OK...my hands are still frozen so I am going to go warm them up.

Tascha and Katie should be along soon. Kasie and Angela and Mid, too...

JAN! Please come...Paula (your first real time party!)....Hatgirl...so many of us now....an awesome group.

I'll be back soon. I think I will indulge in my Once a month gin and tonic. I even bought a lime for the occasion. Which reminds me of Lime Flavored Doritos...yum..that is what I brought...WHERE IS GAIL?

Unfortunately, I'm taking Flagyl right now, so no alcohol. virtual or otherwise for me.  But I would love to have one of those hot chocolate's Fran is having.  It does seem like forever since we've been over here for a cyberparty.  I'll put my Key Lime Pie over on the food table.  I'm hoping it will remind us of summer and warmer weather!  Until then, I'll be waiting for the hot tub to get to optimal temperature....102, right Mary????
