MEDS: hyoscyamine sulfate

A friend of mine is taking this med, Hyoscyamine Sulfate for a cystic mass on her ovaries and the current doctor is not giving her anymore info than that. She has never heard of this and is in great concern for her health. I would like to know if this medication is the proper medication to be taking, and if so what are some of the results that this medication would give my friend. Will this medication dry out the cyst or cause more problems in the future, I also recommended that they get a second opinion.
