Hi, as long as your dr follows up appropriately. You should have a CA125 blood test (this test is not a ovca test but can give the dr some information). Your dr might want to do a watch and wait to see if the mass grows or dissolves on its own. If you're concerned you could ask to see a gynologist oncologist for another opinion. If you do have surgery it defintely should be done by a gynocologist oncologist. Don't get too exited yet - just make sure it's followed up on - usually 6-8 weeks is normalNormal saline flush for another US (transvaginalTransvaginal ultrasound) or CT scan to see what the mass is doing. If it's still there or has grown you may want to have it taken out.
