Hi,
Here's my history (briefly):
*June 2008 / thickened endometrium, benign cyst and polyp
*July 2008 / D&C hysteroscopy to remove polyp and remove tissue (all came back benign)
*August 2008 / 2nd pelvic exam / follow up ultrasound / CA 125 / thryoid and hormone levels checked (all fine)
**pelvic pain, urination urgency and lower back pain continue
*September 2008 / miscarriage
*October 2008 / D&C to remove remnants of pregnancy (benign biopsy)
*December 2008 / MRI to diagnose pelvic pain (OB thought I might have adenomyosis) -- MRI came back crystal clear
*March of 2009 / went on birth control -- doctor thought maybe endometriosis
*April of 2009 / started developing nausea, diarreah, acid reflux and indigestion
*April of 2009 / transabdominal/vaginal ultrasound -- all came back clear
**worsening of digestion problems**
*May of 2009 / trip to ER / catscan of abdomen and pelvic area + complete CBC -- all came back fine
One year after all of this and I'm sure I'm forgetting at least an additional ultrasound or two that I have and I am still panic stricken over possibly having ovarian cancer.
With all of the tests I've had and all of the symptoms I'm experiencing, can I finally put my mind at ease that ovarian cancer is not likely to be an issue.
All docs tell me I do not have it and a year later my ovaries are totally normal shape and size.
I'm still worried. Am I just being completely irrational at this point... after 5 ultrasounds, 1 MRI and a catscan over the course of a year, can I stop worrying about ovarian cancer?
Please help.
