Pain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been diagnosed with endo stage 3 recently. I have pain on my left side shoots down my left leg around my back rectum and I always have to urinate. my recent baught of pain started 1/06. Severe pain starting the day my period ended. I had pain almost everyday. Had no apetite at all. He sent me for an ultrasound showed a chocolate cyst and fluid in my sac. Still had pain. Went to see an accupunture MD rec an Mri lumbar and abdominal came back normal acu did not help. Now I am desperate. Called the endo assoc which I am a member off and did some research about endo. Found 2 Doc's who specialize one in Oregon one in NYC. Went with the one in NYC also in Greenwich CT. Saw him said he saw endo on ultrasound fine sched a laporoscopy said he would remove cyst,do a DNC and remove endo and anything else he saw. PS not in my ins paid alot of $$. Removed alot of endo said the cyst was not there. After surgery next period what do you know pain really bad. Went back did ultra sound nothing. Made an apt one month later for a check did ultrasound on right side 5.6cm hemorage left side nothing. Saw him friday said there was a cyst on left ovary. Put me on bc pills.Still have same pain as before my surgery. Any comments. Cant live like this. :)

Firstly, I'm so sorry you've been diagnosed with endo, it's a nasty evil disease that causes nothing but pain and suffering. but of course you already know that.
I would suggest finding out what type of cyst you have because all ovulating women get a follicle cyst every month as part of ovulation and this is normal, however if you have something different such as an endometrioma, bc pills won't get rid of it and it will cause pain, so it needs to be looked at carefully. I am surprised your endo specialist has put you on bc pills because you really should be on a course of Lupron injections to kill off any remaining endo left after the surgery. I would suggest asking about this.
I can recommend taking anti-inflammatories as these do ease the pain but you need to be consistent.
Please shout if you need any more advice, but please remember you aren't alone.
