Possible Recurrent Serous Cystadenomas?

Everything I have read says that recurrence of cystadenomas is rare.  I had several removed from my right ovary in August.  I went in for an ultrasound today due to some pain issues and now I have not one but two more with some free fluid around the ovary.  Of course, no way to tell if they are the same without going in but I haven't developed cysts of any other nature previously.

Does recurrence up the likelihood of a cancerous outcome?
Is it possible to have a new kind of cyst?
Does my having some small thyroid nodules (non cancerous at last testing) have anything to do with the recurrence of ovarian cysts?  I know the thyroid works on the ovaries.  I have had problems in the past with cystadenomas in my breasts as well.

Any advice is welcome.
I am just so very disappointed as my surgery went well and I have been doing great.  This leads me to more serious concerns as I just turned 30 and have not had children yet.  Might have to move up those plans! :)
Thanks in advance for any advice or answers you can provide.

Unfortunately, these cysts do not respond to birth control pills or other methods of intervention.  We tried with the 1st round.  Thanks though.

Hi There,

lucklily benign thyroid nodules and ovarian cysts are not associated with the development of cancer.  Thank you for your complete information - I do not think your family history of cancers puts you at any higher risk of ovarian cancer either.

It can be very frustrating to have recurrent cysts. You should ask your doctor about the option of suppressing your ovaries with the birth control pill.
best wishes

As one of my thyroid tumors is now considered pre-cancerous but not cancer at this point, does the recurrence of the ovarian cysts mean it's more likely to be cancer this time?  My family history is:  maternal and paternal grandfather's died of brain tumors, mom died of lung caner at 52, dad died of bladder cancer metastisized in bone, brain and lung at 66.  I just lost a very good friend to ovarian cancer and am positively terrified to be honest.
