I will keep her in my prayers. Hopefully she will be okay and come out of this.
Irene, I will definately add Chris to my prayers as well. You are a very good friend and I am sure that she doesn't mind you coming to visit her. If it were me, I would probably limit my number of visits in a week and only stay a short time (Just what I would do :) MD Anderson has been a heaven send for Gail, and I pray it will be for Chis as well. Just have faith that she will be comfortable. Love you, Kasie
I saw her, just stayed about 1/2 hour. She dozes off and that's fine. I just don't know if I'm being a pest and perhaps she feels like she has to entertain me. I just want to be there with her, talk about day to day stuff, ask how things are going. But when is a visit just a burden? We talked about that a little - all the people coming to see her and how tiring it can be. Then there I sit. . . Anyway, she's hoping to travel to MD Anderson in Texas (thank all of you for mentioning the place because I could tell her I heard about it and how good it is). She wants another opinion. The biggest hurdle is getting well enough to travel.
OK, enough of my rambling. I'll update when I hear more. Thanks for being here.
Irene
Irene,
Know that your friend Chris is also in my prayers.
Chris
I will definately keep her in my prayers. Judy
Irene,
She will definitely be in my prayers. Give her extras hugs when you see her and let her know that we care and we are praying. Keep us informed about your friends too. We do care.
Hugs,
Colleen
Thank you all so much. She doesn't post here but I hang around to stay informed so I can listen and understand what she's talking about when talks about her chemo, body changes and feelings. My other friend with OvCa is so stable and doing so well that she doesn't talk about it.
Anyway, thank you all for caring. I'm going over to see Chris in a couple of hours. The hope is that she can come home tomorrow. They say she's improved since last month. It doesn't seem like it to me but what do I know?
Add my prayers to the list. May God give Chris what she needs most, no matter what that is. I pray she finds comfort and strength.
Gail
I will add your friend to my prayers too. I jsut came out of the hospital and got more bad news so I know how scary it is. ((((hugz)))~~Joanne
I will join in prayer for another sufferer of this dreadful disease.
Joining in to pray for Chris. May God give her the strength she needs to join the trial.
My prayers go out Chris, may she find the strength and courage to battle through this set back and return to stability so that she can have the trial. I ask that all our dear Angels gather at her bedside, to give to her of their love and faith. Marty
