I have just finished 6 months of Doxil and yes it was alot tamer than some of the stuff I have had, its still not a walk in the park though. I usually felt kind of tired and nausea after about 4-5 days after the chemo but it only lasted for a few days usually. After about 3 months my hands and feet got very sore and blistered, one of the side effects, that usually happened about 2 weeks after the chemo and lasted for about a week. Be careful not to use any hot water on your hands, darn no doing dishes!! I used 100% aloe vera gel on my hands that seemed to help some.Anyway good luck to you.
My wife is on Doxil, but without the Carbo, this is her 3rd relaspse, she is doing well with just slight side effects, one is thinning of hair, infact she has gone 'crew-cut' to help, otherwise just the usual slight sickness for the fist 3 days. Good luck to you.
