granulosa cell tumor

In 2007 a large ovarian tumor was removed from me , and total hysterctomy and the other ovary. The tumor was later diagnosed as Stage 1a. I am not to have any further treatment but only 6 monthly visits to womens clinic and hopefully blood tests. I have not seen an oncologist , whist at hospital or as an out patient. I have an ache under my right arm and deep in the arm, high up. Could there be any relation to lymph gland/and the cancer. ?.

Hi There,
Granulosa cell tumors are slow growing malignancies of the hormone producing cells of the ovary. They are usually cured by surgery. Those the recur can recur 10 years later.
it is unlikely that your arm pain is related. But it is very important to have a physician exam you and do a breast exam. Unrelated to the granulosa cell tumor, you can develop a breast cancer. It is also important to get a yearly mammogram
best wishes
