ovarian cyst and fibroids

Recently I was told through ultrasound that I have ovarian cyst on both ovaries the one on the left is the size of an orange and the one on the right is a little bit bigger than a quarter. I was also told that I have fibroids. I was wondering what are the chances of me not having a hysterectomy? This will be my second surgery for the cyst. I was never diagnosed with fibroids till now.

Hi there,

This is a link to a page that has a lot of women discussing in detail this same thing.  The very first one is a woman who has cysts, & fibroids and she was able to keep her ovaries.  Everyone is different of course, & they may not be true for you, but who knows.  I know it would make you feel better to be able to share your story with others in your shoes and to hear their stories, but since most of the women on here don't have ovaries anymore you may not get a ton of answers.  I think you will find more than what you are looking for at the site below.  Good luck to you.
